Scooby-Doo: Monster Hunters- Velma Dinkley

I thought giving Velma a more modern look was needed for my "SD:MH" story. Also, nerdy girls are hot. This is the first of a set of individual drawings of the gang for the story.

Velma shows great promise as a detective and criminologist but her loyalty to Mystery Incorporated has kept her from leaving her friends and moving out to any universities, much to her parents' dismay. Level-headed and somewhat skeptical, Velma looks for any logical explanations to the mysteries she and the gang solve, whereas her new partners Toby and Spanky look for everything illogical and unnatural. She helps Spanky make some of the gadgets the gang need to defend themselves with and further delve into the paranormal. While ineffective in combat, Velma makes up for that with her exceptional computer-hacking, lock-picking, and pick-pocket skills. Velma is well-informed on the supernatural and her sarcasm rivals Toby, which leads the two to some intense (and pointless) arguments.
